The Egan model aims at helping participants solve problems more effectively and develop under-used or unused resources as opportunities more fully. The participants will practice these skills acquired and will then go through an evaluation process, after which they will serve in various Jamaats as mentors.

“I loved the program. The Egan model is very interesting, the manual was a great support.”

The Capacity Building Group Lead, Br. Shabbirhussein Khalfan had the opportunity to visit the local Community School and the School run under the auspices of Rasul Al Akram, in Antananarivo.

During his visit, he conducted a self-awareness session for the students at Housseini Memorial School and an empowering teambuilding session for the teachers at Madrasatul Akram school. The Housseini Memorial School launched under the Late Chairman of KSIJ Antananarivo, Alhaj Mounisbhai (May Allah rest his soul in peace. Ameen), is fairly new at the moment; however, their efforts are commendable.
