Eid-ul-Adha Mubarak – Greetings from AFED Chairman

In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful

My Dear Community Members,

Salaamun Alaikum.

Eid Mubarak

Eid-ul-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice)

Eid-ul-Adha is a manifestation of self-sacrifice, commitment and obedience to Allah (swt), it commemorates the great act of obedience to Allah (swt) by Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.) in showing his willingness to sacrifice his son Ismael (A.S.).

Muslims from all over the world have gathered in Makkah to perform the Hajj, they have gathered for one purpose and that is to declare their servitude and loyalty to Allah (swt) alone.

Let us remember His grace and favours to us, and let us pray for the safety, good health and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah all over the world. Let us pray for peace and tranquility in all parts of the world.

May I request you to remember the Marhumeens who were with us last Eid and are no longer in our midst with Sura-e-Fateha.

On this auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, I wish to express my heartiest and best wishes to you all, let us all pray to Allah (swt) to give us all the Tawfeeqat to be able to follow and abide by His commandments.

With Salaams and Dua’as,
