We are pleased to inform the Community that the construction works of the Al Asghary Housing Project in Dar-es-Salaam has commenced.  This Project in Dar-es-Salaam is on Plot No 1701/208 on Band Street (corner of Libya Street), Dar es Salaam consisting of 18 apartments and two shops on the ground floor in total. The Building has nine (9) floors and each floor consists of a three and two bedroom apartment.
 
This is in line with the vision of the Africa Federation which is to facilitate 100 apartments in Dar es Salaam during this term, 2016-2019, so as to give ownership opportunity to our members. We shall continue to work jointly with KSI Jamaat of Dar es Salaam, the World Federation and various donors and well-wishers to achieve this objective.

THE AFED COMMERCIAL PROJECT - UPDATE

Salaamun Alaikum!
 
Alhamdulillah, with the grace of Allah (SWT) we have almost come to the completion of the first phase of the AFED Pugu Road Commercial Project.
 
The project consists of twenty (20) warehouses. Ten on the ground and ten on the first floor with five latest type cargo lifts with a capacity of two tons each to facilitate lifting cargo for the tenants on the first floor, one lift between two warehouses. Each warehouse has an area of 570 SQM and consists of one washroom, kitchenette and two offices.

Further to our Circular Ref. No. JMT/84/14 of July 5, 2014 in which the appointment of Alhaj Akil Hirji, Chairman of the Africa Federation Economic and Housing Development Board was announced, we are pleased to make further announcement of the appointments of the Board Members by the Chairman of the Africa Federation, Alhaj Anwarali Dharamsi, they are:

Alhaj Shabir Najafi, the Vice Chairman and Alhaj Kumail Manji, the Assistant Hon. Secretary of Africa Federation from the Secretariat will be the ex-officio members of the Board in advisory capacities.
