Tuwasiliane 2014

The Tuwasiliane Football and Volleyball Tournament that was being held in Tanga during Easter Holiday in March 2013 was postponed following the tragic incident of the collapse of the building adjacent to our Mosque in Dar es Salaam causing several deaths and casualties in our community and also among other communities in Dar-es-Salaam.

The tournaments titled “Tuwasiliane Sports Festival” for male only will also include the game of Cricket. The Festival will be held during the Easter Holidays from 18th to 21st April 2014 in Tanga, Tanzania concurrently with the Ladies Sports Festival in Dar-es-Salaam.

The Sports Council is also contemplating to include the game of Bhool. This is a popular game in our community in Madagascar & Reunion and will be an introduction as a demonstration game for the sportsmen from the Jamaats in Mainland Africa during this Tournament.
