Federation Samachar Editorial Board - Announcement

The Federation Samachar is currently in the process of being re-registered with the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports so as to abide by section 6 of the Tanzania Newspapers Act No. 3 of 1976 (Regulation 9).

The Editorial Board of the Federation Samachar is pursuing the re-registration procedures with the Newspaper Registrar at the Ministry of information, Culture, Arts and Sports. Once this procedure is completed the publication of the magazine will be resumed.

In the meantime the Editorial Board invites readers, columnists, Jamaats and Territorial Councils of Madagascar and Reunion to continue sending their activity reports for consideration and inclusion in the next issue which will be published immediately after the re-registration process is completed.

The Editorial Board normally publishes three issues of the magazine in each year. Due to the present formalities the Editorial Board will publish two issues in the first year of this term (April 2016 – April 2017).

With the constant efforts by the Editorial Board in pursuing this matter, we are hopeful it will not take too long for the re-registration of the Samachar magazine.
