Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania organized a free eye-camp in Kondoa, Dodoma Region over 3 days from 20th to 22nd September 2011.
A total of 96 successful cataract operations were performed by Dr. Dilawer Padhani, Dr. Noel Swai, Dr. Lufungs and their team of surgeons.

The residents of Kondoa and neighboring towns and villages turned out in great numbers but unfortunately many were not screened due to scarcity of time. The Mission is planning to organize another camp soon so as to serve the remaining patients.
