On March 22nd 2014, Bilal Muslim Mission Kenya in conjunction with the Zahra Madrassah – Mombasa organized programs to celebrate the Wiladats of Bibi Fatimah (AS) and Bibi Zainab (AS) at Bilal Hall Mombasa.
The programs included Qur’an recitations, qasidas on Bibi Fatima (AS) and Bibi Zainab (AS), skit on the teachings of Bibi Fatemah and an educative and informative Quiz programme.
A large number of women and children from different communities attended this program.
Sis Fatmabai Haji, Chairlady of Zainabiya Society made the closing speech praising the good work undertaken by Mrs Sakinabai Dhalla and her group.
The vote of thanks was presented by Sis Zahra Habib on behalf of Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya.
For the first time, Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya in conjunction with Zahra Madrasah, Mombasa and Husayni Madrassah, Bahakanda organized a program to celebrate the Wiladats of Bibi Fatimah (A.S.) and Bibi Zainab (AS) at Bahankanda on 21st April, 2014.
Different Madrassah from the nearby villages of Miamba, Burani, Mwele, Pengo, Bahakanda and others participated in the event.
The event began with the recitation of Quran followed by qaswidas recited by students from these Madrassah praising Bibi Fatimah (AS). Khutba based on the “The event of Kerbala” and the “Role of Bibi Zainab (AS) after the death of Imam Hussein (A.S)”.
Short plays were enacted by Zahra Madrassah students based on how families should behave in the society, demonstrated the different types of Hijab and how we can improve ourselves.
