BILAL MUSLIM MISSION OF TANZANIA ORGANIZES A CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (CPD) FOR MUBALIGHEEN
A Continuous Development Program (CPD) for Mubaligheen was hosted by the Bilal Muslim Mission, Kigoma branch covering Mubaligheen from Lake and West Zones of Tanzania. It was held from 28th August to 3rd September 2016 and attended by 35 Muballigheen from centers that include Tabora, Singida, Kagera, Kigoma and Mwanza.
The Opening Ceremony was attended by the Chairman of Central Bilal Board (CBB) Alhaj Mohsin Lalji (Sheni) who was the Chief Guest; he lauded the Mubaligheen with appreciation of the Tabligh work being carried out.
The CBB Chairman also advised further that in order to develop and enhance the Tabligh activities the Mubaligheen should emphasize unity between the Muslim Ummah and to carry out Tabligh with wisdom.

In order to enhance further the Tabligh work, CBB Chairman approved a pilot project of monthly evaluation & assessment for Mubaligheen of various centers that will start a ‘2-3 day’ session at Kigoma region and later will be held at each regional centre.
During the Seminar, there were different sessions which were addressed by the Head of Tabligh Maulana Syed Arifali Naqvi, the Chief Executive Alhaj Amir Ahmed, the Kigoma Regional Chairman Sheikh Abdulwahid Abyat together with Chief Inspectorate Sheikh Mbelango and Head of Hawzatul Khadijatul Kubra (A.S.) Girl’s Hawza at Kigoma region Shk. Ammar Makuzo.
The main aim of these sessions were basically to build capacity and to evaluate the individual progress of Mubaligheen, discuss development of the Bilal community, to identify challenges and how to overcome them and to charter a roadmap for the future of Tabligh activities in Bilal Muslim Mission.

Objectives of the sessions were:
- Capacity building of Muballigheen for enhancing Tabligh.
- Responsibilities of the Mubaligheen in their centers
- Wisdom in propagation and to achieve peace and harmony with different religious sects.
- Practical training on Fiqh masael and different syllabus.
- Basic computer training on use of laptop effectively in order to access references from the E- Library (Makataba Shamela and Maktabatul Ahlul Bayt)
During this seminar, CEO and Head of Tabligh of BMMT also visited centers and participated in various events in the lives of our Bilal Community that include Qur’an ‘Khitma’ commemoration of Marhum Ally Kisinza (16 years old student) who comes from a Shia family in Ujiji, Kigoma region and also participated in gracing the happy occasion of a marriage ceremony of Mubaligheen at Mkabogo center.
