BILAL MUSLIM MISSION OF TANZANIA HOLDS
FREE EYE CAMP AT CHALINZE (7th – 10th JULY 2016)
The Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania organized a 4-Days Eye Camp sponsored by Renville Health Care in Memory of Marhum Pirbhai Visram, Marhum Merali Dewji, and Marhum Gulamhussein Daya and with support of BETA Charitable Trust of Essex, U.K. for the surgeries.
Camp was set at Bwilingu Primary School and the surgeries were carried out at surgery room in Chalinze Hospital. This was conducted from 7th to 10th July, 2016.
People from several villages in the Chalinze District registered for the Free Eye treatment, among them 2,844 people of various ages were screened; summary and details are given below:

We are also grateful to BETA Charitable Trust of Essex, U.K. for sponsoring the surgeries which were carried out at Chalinze Free Eye Camp.
We also express our deep and sincere appreciation to the entire team of doctors, nurses, volunteers, Regional and District Government authorities and medical officers, the School administration and teachers, the Tanzania Police Force and all those who in one way or the other supported and facilitated the successful conduct of the Camp.
We sincerely thank The Light Foundation for donating refractomer/keratometer which was used for first time at Bilal Eye Camp.
