WOMEN BOARD LOGO
The Africa Federation Women Board is pleased to launch its new Logo.
Brief Description of the Logo:
The shades of purple and turquoise have been used to design the Logo.
Purple reflects the sensitivity, compassion, devotion, power, ambition, dignity, understanding, and supportive nature of women.
The turquoise colour represents clear thinking, decision making and the energy of creativity and multitasking in women.
Putting together purple and turquoise reflects the extensive personality of women.
The women on the Logo identify the AFED Women Board, along with its Vision and Mission.
VISION:
To Unite, Develop, Empower and consciously expand the portfolio of female leaders who are dedicated and passionate about leading the community in different positions.
The AFED Women Board works to contribute to the society whereby women will have decisive and major roles to play towards the development of our community at large.
MISSION:
To provide exposure and mentorship to girls and women of our community and to develop them into spiritually and socially conscientious and devoted members of our community to uphold Islamic and Family Values.
The AFED Women Board wants to carry out its Mission with the 4 – P’s – Piety, Power, Purpose and Platform.
* PIETY: Spiritual upliftment.
* POWER: Self esteem and self efficacy development.
* PURPOSE: Leadership and Mentorship – Empowering the women to lead.
* PLATFORM: Empowering women and girls to value diversity, be challenge bias and have a passion for continual learning through active participation in various developmental programs.
