Press Release – Alhaj Faridun Suleiman Abdalla of Nairobi Bestowed Honorary Doctorate

The Africa Federation Secretariat has received with great pleasure the news of Alhaj Dr. Faridun Suleiman Abdalla of Nairobi, Kenya being bestowed an Honorary Degree of Doctorate in Humanities for Humanity Service to the Community by the United International Graduate College and Seminary of USA.  Alhaj Abdalla, popularly known as Dr. F. S. Abdalla has also been appointed as an Ambassador for World Civility by IChange Nations of USA in recognition as a national leader for peace.
 
Dr. F. S. Abdalla is a professional Business Executive and a well-known philanthropist in Kenya who assists the underprivileged with education, medical and other needs. He is actively involved in organizing interfaith symposiums, workshops and meetings.
 
The social and philanthropic works by Dr. F. S. Abdalla has earned him many prestigious awards and recognitions, few amongst those are as listed below.

2018 – Head of States Commendation (HSC)                                                
2012 – Elder of the Burning Spear” (EBS)
2011 – Moran of the Order of Burning Spear Medal (MBS)
2009 – Order of the Grand Warrior of Kenya (OGW)
 
Giants International Awards
2015   Awarded the Most Outstanding Overseas Member of Giants Fraternity.
2011   Recognized by Giants International for Outstanding and Meaningful
           Contribution in the Field of Social Service 
2000   Awarded the Overseas Group Outstanding Giant of the Year for Dedicated
           Services to the Less Fortunate.
1998   Awarded the Overseas Group Award as the Outstanding Chairman for the
           Year.
 
Giants Federation of Kenya Chairman’s Award
1997-1998  Awarded the Best Group Chairman
1997-1998  Appreciation Award for Services Rendered to the Less Fortunate
                   members of the Society.
