AFRICA FEDERATION OFFICE BEARERS MEET MEMBERS OF MAURITIUS JAMAAT AND STUDENTS STUDYING IN MAURITIUS
One of the focal points for Africa Federation’s Education Board is to Increase community engagement with member Jamaat bodies and students though direct interactions, focus group discussions and Student Alumni network. Recently Africa Federation’s Office bearers visited Mauritius Jamaat and met with students studying in Universities in Mauritius.
The students were honored to meet the Office bearers and appreciated the personal interaction with them. A total of 7 students from Tanzania are studying in Middlesex University – Mauritius.
A small island nation, Mauritius boasts beautiful scenery and high levels of peacefulness and freedom. Comprised of colleges, universities and other technical institutions, the Mauritian higher education system is managed by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC). There are many private and public universities, including domestic institutions and international campuses. Whilst not earning a large amount of international recognition, institutions in Mauritius offer high quality education to both domestic and international students. Each institution offers undergraduate degrees and postgraduate degrees, in a wide variety of fields.
