BANNERS TO EXPLAIN THE MESSAGE FROM ASHURA
Bilal Muslim Mission Tanga has placed banners on the Tanga – Dar es Salaam high way at Kwaminchi roundabout and at Mabanda-papa roundabout on the way to Pangani District. These two focal points were chosen so that the message of Imam Husain reaches many people.
BILAL TANGA CONDUCTS MAJLIS FOR IMAM HUSSAIN (A) IN ALL CENTRES
Bilal Tanga conducted majlises to commemorate the Martyrdom of Imam Husain (A) and his companions at all its 45 centres. Majlises started from Thursday 20th August 2020 (i.e. 01st Muharram 1442 A.H) and carried on for 12 nights up to 31st August 2020 (i.e. 12th Muharram 1442 A.H.).
BLOOD DONATION AT TANGA REFERRAL HOSPITAL – BOMBO
Bilal Tanga organized Blood donation in the name of Imam Husain (a’) on 27th August 2020 (i.e. 07th Muharram 1442 A.H.) at the Tanga Regional Referral Hospital – Bombo. A total of 45 donors came forward to donate their blood in the name of Martyrs of Karbala.
Together with blood donation Bilal Tanga also organized distribution of items like powder soap, bar soap and hand sanitizers to patients. A total of 200 patients benefitted from this distribution.
BILAL TANGA VISITS OLD AGE CARE CENTRE AND ORPHANAGE
In commemorating the days of Muharram, members from Bilal Tanga visited Old age care centre in Mwanzange Tanga and the Orphanage in Pongwe. These events took place on Saturday 9th Muharram, 1442 A.H (29th of August, 2020.) The Old age centre has 30 members who were served with food and drinks.
The Orphanage in Pongwe with more than 60 pupils were served with food and drinks in the name of Imam Husain (A).
PANGANI CONDUCTS PEACEFUL MARCH TO COMMEMORATE ASHURA
On 9th Muharram, 1442 A.H. (29th of August, 2020) Bilal Tanga- Pangani branch organized a peaceful procession commemorating the tragedy of Karbala. Almost 1,500 people from different areas around Pangani district attended the procession. Sheikh Idrisa Ibrahim from Mkumbara centre delivered the speech describing the event of Karbala.
BILAL TANGA CONDUCTS MASSIVE PROCESSION ON ASHURA DAY
Bilal Tanga carried out a peaceful procession on 10th of Muharram 1442 A.H. (Ashura day) i.e. Sunday 30th of August 2020. More than 2,500 people took part in the procession that started from Bilal Headquarter at Street no.5 and ended at Ahlulbayt Charitable foundation Headquarters at Street no 20. During the procession the purpose of Imam Husain (A)’s sacrifice was explained to the public.
