On Friday August 7th 2020, The Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania had the honour to receive the Past Chairman of Africa Federation Alhaj Ramzan bhai Nanji and Alhaj Barkat Rajani. Alhaj Ramzan bhai is also the Chairman of Bilal Muslim Mission Nakuru and Mulla Nanji Foundation. During their visit they met with the Bilal management and discussed various aspect of Tabligh including ways of cooperation between the two institutions.
After visiting the Bilal Headquarters, the guests proceeded to visit the Bilal Muslim Mission Temeke Campus which houses the Bilal Comprehensive School and Bilal Pre – Hawza.
BILAL COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL.
Bilal Comprehensive School, comprises a Nursery and Primary school and its one amongst the renowned schools in Dar-es-Salaam. Alhaj Ramzan Nanji together with BMMT delegation visited the school for the purpose of viewing the activities and sharing ideas.
BILAL PRE – HAWZA TEMEKE.
The Bilal Pre Hawza at Temeke Dar es Salaam offers a two years course with the students expected to join further Hawza studies or vocational training in SYDP after the completion of the course at Temke Bilal Pre-Hawza.
IKWIRIRI CENTRE
Masjid Ahl Bayt (a.s.) is one among the centre of the Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania located in Ikwiriri town, Rufiji district in the Coast Region. Within the centre there is a nursery school, madrassah and a mosque. The centre has 203 Shia families.
On Sunday 9th August 2020, the Vice Chairman of Africa Federation Alhaj Aunali Khalfan together with Alhaj Ramzan Nanji, CBB Chairman, Alhaj Hussein Karim, Bilal COO Hafidh Mansour and Bilal Tabligh Coordinator Sheikh Msabah visited the centre. They travelled by road from Dar es Salaam city to Ikiwiri which is about 170 Kms, the journey took about 5 hours on a return trip to Ikiwiri. The visit provided the CBB, BMMT and AFED with the opportunity to witness the activities and the facilities first hand, it also highlighted various improvements that are required for the Centre.
The Ikwiriri Centre Community members appreciated the visit by the delegation on the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Ghadeer. They said such visits are motivating and give a sense of belonging.
