The Africa Federation Secretariat is pleased to welcome Mrs. Zaheera Alishan Raza who will be joining us as the Administrative Secretary of the Africa Federation Capacity Building Board (CBG) and Media & Publications departments, she will also be assisting the Archives Sub Section with effect from 1st December 2020.
Fatema Dharsee has been with the Africa Federation since April 2018 holding the post of the Administrative Secretary of the AFED Capacity Building Board and assisting the Archives Sub Section all along. During her tenure with the Africa Federation Secretariat, she demonstrated high degree of responsibility towards her duties and managed the office activities diligently. Her pleasant and calm personality coupled with her inter-personal and communications skills added vigor to her success as a team player and an accomplished member of our staff. We wish her and her family every success in her future endeavours.
As for Zaheera bai, she brings with her immense experience of 20 years in Education and Community Social and Religious Services, she is accustomed to working in a multicultural environment that emphasizes diversity and inclusion with a solid commitment to the social, academic and organizational growth and development.
She holds an IMIS Higher National Diploma in Computer Studies, and is well conversant with different Graphic Design packages.
She is a teacher at the Husayni Madrasah Girls Section since 2013 and has a Teaching Diploma (TSP) and done a course on Neuropsychology of Learning from the Madrasah Centre of Excellence. She has also attended various Islamic courses at Madrasah al Zahra – Dar-es-Salaam.
We welcome her and wish her the very best in her new position in the Africa Federation Secretariat.
Zaheera bai will be based at the AFED office located at Zahra Tower on Indira Gandhi Street in Dar es Salaam.
