The Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania Secretariat is pleased to announce the following new positions at the Headquarters:
CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER (COO) – Br. Hafidhi Mansour of Dar-es-Salaam as the Chief of Operations (COO) of the Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania (BMMT).
Brief Profile:
Br. Hafidhi graduated from Mzumbe University Dar es Salaam Campus College holding a Master Degree of Public Administration (MPA) in the year 2018.
He is among the founder members of Tanzania Ithna Asheri Professionals Foundation (TIPF) back in 2014 and serves as the Assistant Secretary at the Council of Shia Muslim Institutions in Tanzania (COSMIT) in reformation since 2018.
He was the General Administrator at World Islamic Propagation and Humanitarian Services (WIPAHS) – 2019. While in Kibaha, he also trained Mubaligheena (Religious Teachers), one of the most famous training being ‘’Conflict Resolutions’’.

Brief Profiles of the New Management Team:
Sheikh Msabaha Shabani Ali Mapinda, was born on 23rd April 1956 in Nzega district, Tabora region. He is among the people who made the translations of religious books from Arabic to Kiswahili under supervision of Marhum Sayyid Saeed Akhtar Rizvi in 1994-2000.
He started madrassah at Kahama town from 1970 to1976. He was the student of former Mufti of Zanzibar Marhum Sheikh Harith Khelef Khamis in Iringa region, 1977-1980.
He also worked as a teacher in various Madressah and Hawza:
1983 – 1984: Madrasa teacher at Iringa Muslim school.
1985 – 1988: Madrasa teacher Mbeya Muslim school.
1989 – 1990: Madrasa teacher at Mabokweni Tanga Municipal.
Sis. Amina Hassan was born on 30th August 1989 in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. She completed her secondary education at Wali Ul Asr Seminary, Kibaha. She holds a Diploma in Journalism Studies, of A3 Institute of Professional Studies (KSIJ), Dar Es Salaam.
She has been working at BMMT for a several years in various sectors, including being a website publisher, setting the books and Sauti ya Bilal Magazine designer. She has recently been appointed as a Desk Service Office of the BMM T Administration Management.
While working at the Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania she was able to attend various programs and seminars;
- A workshop conducted by the Africa federation Capacity Building group (CBG), 14th November 2015.
- A crash course in Islamic studies, conducted by Iffat Bai Thawer at Udoe Masjid -2016.
Hamisi is a Social science specialist working with BMMT as Project Manager, with more than five years of experience in Human development programs. He holds a certificate of Bachelor of Science in Social protection from the Institute of Financial Management in Tanzania since 2014.
Hamisi specialized in Designing private and public measures to cover vulnerable societies both economically and Social risk Management for sustainable development, with project Management. He gained experience through working in different national and International NGOs as well as attending different training and online courses for skills development.
A strong believer in the power of positive thinking in the workplace, Hamisi regularly develops development mechanism campaigns to assist communities and staff with effective Livelihood project initiative and Islamic ways of living without ignoring health of the vulnerable house hold.
Hamisi enjoys the respect he gets from different villagers as a result of helping people in need through his personal attribute and working responsibilities with Bilal Muslim Mission Tanzania.
Sis. Swaumu graduated in the year 2020 from the University of Dodoma (UDOM) holding a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. She participated as a community volunteer under the VSO (Voluntary service oversees) conducting a CBR (Community based rehabilitation) project in Zanzibar.
She has attended different programs and seminars as follows:
- Awarded a Certificate for completion of studies conducted during the month of Muharram – November 2012.
- A workshop conducted by USIA (University student of international affairs associations) – 9th June 2018.
- A crash course in Islamic studies, conducted by Madrasah Ta’lim wa Tarbiyah & TIPF 4th – 17th March 2019.
Juma Ramadhan Kazingati was born in Kigoma in 1987at Bugamba village. He studied religion at the Ahlulbayt Madrasat in Bugamba, 1993 – 2000.
In 2010 he undertook a course in graphic studies (Adobe Photoshop) at an early stage and began working on the profession in preparing personal work.
From 2013 – 2015, he worked part time in at the Ahlulbayt Islamic Center and Al Mustafa International University of Tanzania.
2015 – 2018 in Qom region Br. Juma Kazingati did a course in Computer Skills, Filming, Website Designing (WordPress), Adobe Packages (Adobe Premier cc, Adobe After Effect, Adobe InDesign) and Social media, while working with the Ahlulbayt Islamic Assembly as a book writer and editor. At the same time, he worked with Emar al Mahdi (tvshia.com) as a lecturer and video editor of the institute.
From 2019 to the beginning of 2020 he worked on video editing of the African Youth Union in Iran as well as teaching the same subjects to Tanzanian youth.
He is graduated from Al Mustafa International University, Iran in the year 2020 holding a Master of Islamic History.
