إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ,
“To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return”
(Holy Qur’an, Surah Al Baqarah 2:156)
The Africa Federation Secretariat has received with deep sorrow the sad news of the passing away of Alhaj Syed Hassan Abbas Ansar Naqvi the Chairman of the Africa Federation Tabligh Board (AFTAB) which occurred today afternoon, Friday 12th February 2021 in Dar-es-Salaam.
Syed was admitted for
treatment at Aga Khan Hospital some few days ago. His death is a huge loss to
the family, Africa Federation, Dar-es-Salaam Jamaat and the Community at large.
We have lost a dedicated, humble and honorary volunteer who spent most of his
time in promoting Tabligh.
Marhum served with great passion and devotion for the cause of Islam and the
Madh’ab of Ahlulbayt (AS). We pray to Allah (SWT) to grant him an elevated
station in the proximity of 14 Masumeen (AS) where he receives Allah’s (SWT)
continuous grace and mercy, Ameen.
Our sympathies and condolences go to his wife, children, brothers, sisters and
grandchildren. May Allah (SWT) grant them patience to bear this huge and
irreplaceable loss in the family.
The Funeral arrangements are being made and will be notified once
confirmed. We request Momineen to remember him, with
Namaz-e-Hadiya-e-Mayyit and pray for his maghferat.
Please remember Marhum and all the Marhumeen with Sura-e-Fateha.
