the Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri
Community
of East Africa.
May it please your Majesty,
We, the President and Members of the Central Council of the Federation of Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Community of Africa, representing the Ithna-Asheri Section of the Muslim Community of Africa, numbering 14,000 in Eastern Africa on our behalf and on behalf of the Members of our Community, desire to express to Your Majesty our loyal, dutiful and most sincere congratulations on the approaching occasion of Your Majesty’s Coronation on the 2nd June, 1953.
The Great Empire and Commonwealth, over which Your Majesty has been called to reign is unique in the annuals of history.
We are confident that Your Majesty will maintain and enhance the high traditions of courage, faith and devotion to the duties of your exalted office, and we trust, that the burden of Your Majesty’s onerous task will be eased by the knowledge of the support of Your free and loyal subjects of all races and creeds throughout Your Majesty’s extensive territories.
We gratefully recall Your Majesty’s active interest in the Colony and Protectorate of Kenya, and in the Muslim Community in particular, we hope that Almighty God may bless and preserve Your Majesty long and peacefully to reign over Your loyal and united peoples.

We salute these leaders of our Community who were farsighted,
enriched with wisdom to lead our Community with dignity and honor. Their
exemplary leadership earned our Community respect and recognition which we must
all the time maintain and continue to cultivate on the footprints of our past
leaders and elders who sacrificed their valuable time and resources for the
sake of our Community – May Allah (SWT) by His infinite grace and mercy grant
them maghferat and raise their status to rest in peace in the proximity of
Ahlulbayt (AS) – Please remember them and all the Marhumeen with Sura-e-Fateha.
