BILAL TANGA CELEBRATES MILADUN NABI
Bilal Tanga carried out Miladun Nabi celebrations on 16th October 2021 i.e. 17th Rabiul Awwal 1443 AH. after Maghribayn prayers. Sheikh Kadhim Abbas from Hauzatul Qaim Tanga delivered the speech at Bilal Tanga Husainiya, the gathering was well attended by various mo’mineen, teachers of Bilal Tanga and Hawza students.
COLLEGE OF HAWZAT IMAM QAIM (ATFS) CONDUCTS 10TH GRADUATION CEREMONY
Bilal Tanga conducted the 10th Annual graduation for
the graduates of Hawzatul Qaim (a.t.f.s) on 27th October 2021 i.e.
20th Rabiul Awwal 1443 AH.
The occasion combined graduates from 2019 (3 graduates), 2020 (9 graduates) and
2021 (5 graduates) making the total number of students to receive the award to
be 17.
The guest of honour for the program was Tanga Regional Chief Kadhi, Sheikh
Luwuchu. Also in attendance were dignitaries and guests from Jamiatul Mustafa
University-DSM and various other Religious leaders from various Islamic
institutions in Tanga.
BILAL TANGA CONDUCTS INTERVIEW FOR 2021-2022 INTAKE
Bilal Tanga conducted interview to enroll new students for Academic year 2021/2022 in all the three Hawzas ie Hawzatul Qaim (a.t.f.s), Hawzat Zahra (as) – both of Tanga and Hawza Imam Ali (as) of Pangani.
- For Hawzatul Qaim (a.t.f.s), interview was conducted on 26th and 27th of October 2021. A total of 28 students were interviewed whereby 15 were selected to join the Hawza for the upcoming academic year. Among the 28 students who sat for interview 23 came from Hawzat Imam Ali (as) – Pangani, and the rest from ABC-Arusha, Darul Muslimeen – Dodoma and Hawzat Abulfadhlil Abbas – Morogoro. Simultaneously another interview was conducted in Hawzat Bilal – Kigoma whereby five students were selected to make the total number students selected to join Hawzatul Qaim (a.t.f.s.) to be 20.
- Hawzat Zahra (as) conducted interview to enroll new students for the academic year 2021/2022. Total of 21 students took part in the interview (12 from Bilal Madrasahs and 9 from other Madrasahs). 19 students were selected to join the Hawza from next year.
- Hawzat Imam Ally (as) – Pangani conducted interview on 28th October 2021. A total of 32 students took part in the interview whereby 26 were selected to join the Hawza from next year.
FOOD RELIEF FOR VICTIMS OF ‘TEMBO’ DESTRUCTION
Bilal Muslim – Tanga provided food stuff as relief to the villagers affected by the destruction done by elephants in Mkumbara centre – Korogwe on 16th of October, 2021. Seldom do Elephants pass through villagers’ farms but when they do it leads to massive destructions of plants and crops. Victims were provided with 25 kg of maize flour per house. Total beneficiaries were 1,135 households from the following villages i.e. Magila, Kwenangu, Stesheni and Misufini.
Bilal Tanga was represented by Sheikh Idrisa (the head of Mkumbara centre) and Sheikh Khamis (the head of Tabligh Dept.) while the Government was well represented by Councilor and Chairmen of the villages concerned.
During same occasion, Shia families were given an added 20 kg of rice per house. A total 106 Shia families from Magila, 33 families from Makaka and 27 families from Kwenangu received rice respectively.
