The Africa Federation Chairman Alhaj Shabir Najafi had an opportunity recently to meet with His Eminence Ayatullah Muntazir Mehdi Rizvi from Qum, The Islamic Republic of Iran who was on a ten days’ visit to Kampala, Uganda.
During his visit to Kampala in March 2022, Ayatullah had various programs with the Community members and the Bilal Muslim Organization of Uganda.
During the discussion with His Eminence, Shabir Bhai covered a number of topics, one of these was on the current challenges the Community globally is facing when our core and fundamental beliefs are being challenged by some groups of people within our own Community. Syed agreed that it vitally important that these issues are looked into seriously to avoid our Community members and especially our youth being misguided, and taken astray from Ima’an by some scholars and individuals.
The Africa Federation wishes to thank His Eminence for sparing his valuable time with the members of our Community in Kampala, Uganda.
