28th Ordinary Conference and 84th Supreme Council Session – Details

VENUE: The venue for the 28^th Ordinary Conference and the 84^th Session of the Supreme Council of the Federation of KSI Jamaats of Africa is the KSI Ladies Imambargah (First Floor) Dar-es-Salaam from Thursday 14^th July to Sunday 17^th July 2022 (14^th to 17^th Zilhajj 1443).
 
The House of Knowledge (HoK) will be located at the Second Floor of the KSI Ladies Imambargah and will be open at designated times from Thursday 14^th July to Saturday 16^th July 2022.
 
COVID 19 TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 
Arrivals: All visitors are required to present their Covid 19 Vaccination on arrival at any port of entry in Tanzania.  Those with no vaccination certificate will have to undergo a Rapid Test on arrival costing US $ 10.
 
The Following C19 Vaccines are recognized in Tanzania

• Pfizer
• Sputnik Light
• Jansens
• Sinovac
• Sinopharm

Departure: Participants who require a PCR test before their departure are requested to inform the Organizing Committee in advance so that arrangements can be done accordingly.  The test needs to be done 48 hours prior to the travel.  Those who require to undergo this test are requested to notify the Organizing Committee on afedmeetings@gmail.com.
 
The cost for the PCR test is US $ 50 plus US $ 20 (Service Charges).
 
PAPERLESS MEETING: Participants are requested to note that this Conference will be “Paperless” and we humbly request all participants to bring their own Laptops/Ipads to download the Conference Pack.
 
1^ST ANNIVERSARY OF KSI CHARITABLE EYE CENTRE: All participants are invited to attend this program on Sunday 17^th July 2022 at the Eye Centre from 1.00 p.m. – 2.30 p.m.
 
WEATHER:  The weather in Dar-es-Salaam presently is cool with some spell of showers, the expected temperature during the days of the meeting is 29 degrees
Celsius.
