Implementation of Poverty Reduction project through
Economic Upliftment in Tanga – 2nd Phase
We are pleased to inform that the Poverty Reduction Project Phase 2, has been successfully implemented in Mwandusi, Kwa Shemshi, Mtundani and Magumbani Centres in Tanga during the month of August 2022.
TRAINING
Before implementation stage, entrepreneurship training seminar was conducted for 4 weeks and it was supervised by project manager from BMMT head quarter.
Training was provided to cover the following subjects and ensure the beneficiaries has the good level of awareness on the followings:
- Financial Plan and Responsibility
- Entrepreneurship Skills
- Capital and its sources
- Savings
- Business Plan and Business Management skills.
BENEFICIARIES
The project focused to poor people who are found in the villages where there are little developed, where total number of 115 individuals were benefited from the project. In Mwandusi beneficiaries were 25 individuals, Mtundani 25, Magumbani 32 and Kwa Shemshi 33.
The Management of the Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania are hopeful that these needy families will utilize the resources effectively for their own economic development which will assist to fight against the poverty in the local areas.
