It is reported that since June 2022, floods caused by monsoon rains and melting glaciers in Pakistan have killed many people, including children and over 33 million people, about 12% of the country’s population have been displaced, these are the worst floods in Pakistan experienced since 2010,
The southern province of Sindh, and the Balochistan have been badly affected by the floods.
The Minister for Climate Change of Pakistan, Madam Sherry Rehman called the floods “unprecedented” and “the worst humanitarian disaster of this decade.”
Pakistan needs the support of global communities and organizations at this critical and unprecedented times.
The Africa Federation Secretariat in such situations, like always, appeals to our community members to contribute funds towards assisting the affected families from the disaster caused by floods which have devastated many families.

The funds collected will then collectively be remitted to the World Federation towards the Pakistan Floods Emergency appeal.
