A meeting was held between Africa Federation and Jaffer Family Foundation (JFF) officials on Wednesday 22nd November 2022. JFF is a charitable organization based in the United States of America and are currently involved with 35 different humanitarian projects globally.
The meeting was attended by the Directors and Trustees of the Foundation Alhaj Sadique Jaffer, Alhaj Mohamedtaki Jaffer, Alhaj Hasnain Walji and Alhaj Ali Asad Hemani. Africa Federation Chairman Alhaj Amine Nassor, AFED Hon. Secretary, Alhaj Zuhair Jaffer and the immediate past Chairman of AFED, Alhaj Shabir Najafi who is also the AFED Trustee from Uganda attended the meeting.
The AFED Central Health Board (CHB) Chairman, Alhaj Aliraza Bandali, the Director of G1 Security Company, Alhaj Bashir Bandali and other officials from G1 Security Company later joined the meeting.
The handover ceremony was held at AFED Tower Conference Room, in the presence of the Jaffer Family Foundation officials, Africa Federation officials and G1 Security Company officials. The Ambulance will be imported from Dubai, U.A.E. and is expected to arrive in Dar es Salaam in the next 6 to 8 weeks’ time. G1 Company provides free emergency and humanitarian services to people from all walks of life, in Dar es Salaam, and elsewhere in Tanzania.
Appreciating the donation of the Ambulance, Mr. Bandali, said – “This donation could not have come at a better time than this when we are facing numerous challenges of lack of well-equipped Ambulances to take care of emergencies, especially the sick and critical condition patients and accident victims, the Company is very grateful to the Jaffer Family Foundation for this timely donation. We wish to assure the donors of utmost care and good maintenance of the Ambulance for efficiency in services, thank you very much.”
The Africa Federation Secretariat on behalf of G1 Security Company and on its own behalf wishes to record their profound appreciation to the Jaffer Family Foundation (JFF) for their kind donation of Ambulance and pray to the Almighty to grant the Directors, Trustees and Officials of JFF long and healthy life with more tawfeeqat to continue with such noble work. May the Almighty grant the late parents of Alhaj Mohamed Taki and Alhaj Sadique Jaffer with maghferat and rest the departed souls amongst His chosen servants where they receive continuous blessings from Allah (SWT), Aameen.
