CHB News Flash – Life Insurance Scheme

Since the appointment of the Central Health Board this term, one of the key projects that the Board embarked on was the LIFE INSURANCE SCHEME for members of the Community. The kind of scheme that the Board is looking at includes:- 

• Affordability and Reliability
• Wide coverage
• Inclusivity of Elders
• Other add on benefits

Based on the above, the Central Health Board issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Life Insurance Scheme from all AFED member Jamaats on 27^th December 2022 and the deadline to submit the proposals was 16^th January 2023 at 5:00 P.M.
 
Currently, the Board is reviewing and analyzing the four proposals received for this Scheme and thereafter, the Central Health Board shall have a round of meetings with the shortlisted Brokers/Insurance companies.
 
While the process of scrutinizing the proposals is ongoing, our team shall be also working on the following in the next coming days 

1. Creating social media awareness on the life Insurance Scheme
2. Building up on online discussion forums with the shortlisted companies
3. Setting up Question and Answer sessions

The Board is anticipating to implement the life insurance scheme for its member Jamaats within the next few months, inshaAllah.
