The Jamaats under the Conseil Regional Des Khojas Shia Ithna-Asheri – Jamates De L’Ocean Indien (CROI) of Madagascar had their elections on 4th February 2023 wherein Alhaj Féride Ismael Djadawdjee was elected unopposed as the President for the term 2023 – 2026.
As per the Government of Madagascar new requirement, some amendments in the constitution had to be made, also the name of the Organization had to be changed, hence the new name of Conseil Regional is; The Association Khoja Shia Ithna Asheri of Madagascar (AKSIAM) and a new Logo of the same was launched and registered with relevant authority in Antananarivo, Madagascar.
The following is the new leadership elected/appointed:

The Africa Federation Chairman Alhaj Amine Nassor and Vice Chairman Alhaj Aunali Khalfan attended the 1st Annual General Assembly of AKSIAM held on Friday 28th April and Saturday 29th April 2023 in Antananarivo. A brief ceremony of investiture was held during the General Assembly whereby the new elected President Feride bhai Ismael took over the helm from Sheikh Haniphe Akbaraly who completed his two terms in office.
We pray to Allah (SWT) to grant the new team with good health and tawfeeqat to carry out their duties and accomplish their aspirations and goals successfully with the blessings of Almighty and the barakat of Ahlulbayt (‘A), Aameen.
