The 13-storey residential/commercial project named Al Mahdi of Arusha Jamaat is progressing well after the construction work was restarted under the Africa Federation Housing Development Board. With the final finishing works in progress, the project is which was expected to be completed by end of this year will now be early next year, this is due to several challenges faced recently. Finishing works normally require more time to complete, this was hampered by the challenges we faced, hence therefore, the project completion date is now estimated to be early January 2025.
On 17th September 2024, a site meeting was held, some decisions on some pending items were made in an effort to ensure the work progresses smoothly. Africa Federation and Arusha Jamaat are working hand in hand, with concerted efforts and clear objectives by both parties, Insha’allah our mission will be achieved.
The external paint works is 90% complete and aluminium glass works is 79% completed; meanwhile other areas are over 70% completed. Overall, the project is completed by 80% and progressing steadily.
