bmm_mtwara_1On   Saturday, 7th July, 2011, team comprising of opticians and volunteers under the Bilal Mission of Tanzania all geared for a noble mission, boarded the TRH bus at 7.00 AM bracing for yet another challenging, bumpy, sunny and dusty journey of 565 kms to Mtwara in Southern Region of Tanzania. The mission was to offer free eye camp services to the residents of Mtwara. The team arrived safely at 6.30 p.m. in Mtwara.

The Africa Federation Secretariat had called upon children between the ages of 6 and 12 to Design an Eid Card for the Africa Federation.

Twenty six (26) cards were received at the Secretariat Office and it was overwhelming to see the efforts and enthusiasm put in by the children.

Making a choice of picking up the three "Africa Federation Eid Cards" was a difficult one and the card designed by Mukarram Rashid (10 Years) of Arusha was picked as the card to be used as the Eid Card of the Africa Federation for Eid Ul Fitr 1432.

Marriage Seminar 2011Africa Federation Tableegh Board and Youth Network have organised seminars for Pre Marriage and Engaged/Rencetly Married Couples.

This is an important forum to educate the young couples and those youths intending to marry soon on marriage and to bring about greater awareness of matrimonial responsibilities.

Youths are encouraged to participate in this important seminar where by they will be able to share their ideas and views.


Following months of preparation and coordination, The World Federation, in partnership with The Africa Federation (AFED), The Council of European Jamaats (CoEJ), the North American Shia Ithna-Asheri Muslim Communities Organization (NASIMCO), and Dubai Jamaat is pleased to announce the launch of the renowned Madinah al-Ilm and Bab al-Ilm Summer Courses for youths.


The Madinah al-Ilm course is for boys and girls (separate camps) from the ages of 18 to 24 and will run from 24 July to 12 August 2011.

The Bab al-Ilm course is for boys and girls (separate camps) from the ages of 14 to 17 and will run from 24 July to 12 August 2011.
