BILAL MWANZA JOINS MOURNERS OF THE ZANZIBAR FERRY VICTIMS
On Tuesday 13/9/2011 special programme was organised by JUKUSUTA Organisation at Mbugani primary School grounds in Mwanza municipality to remember the victims of the Zanzibar Ferry disaster which claimed over 200 lives.
Mwanza Bilal Branch participated and sent a condolence message on behalf of all followers of the Shiite faith
Prayers was organised for the victims of the Ferry Boat disaster that occurred off the coast of Zanzibar on Sat 10/9/2011 in which many people lost their lives, and many more are still not accounted for.
Bilal Zanzibar informed of the loss of one of their pupils at Amani School in this tragic accident. The School is administered by Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania, Zanzibar Branch.
Mwanza Bilal branch wish to extend their condolences to the families of the victims and pray to Allah (swt) to grant them the strength and patience in these trying and difficult time. Also wishing the injured passengers quick and full recovery.
May Allah (swt) rest the departed souls in eternal peace – Ameen.
BILAL COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL IN DAR ES SALAAM MOURNS THE ZANZIBAR FERRY BOAT VICTIMS
The Campus at Bilal Comprehensive School in Temeke mourned the victims of M.V. Spice Islander that capsized off the coast of Zanzibar in the early hours of Saturday 10th of September 2011. The programme was held on Tuesday 13th September 2011.
The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by a speech by Shiekh Ramadhan Kwezi.
A poem was recited by Sister Aisha Kiambu finally an emotional eulogy was recited by Teacher Ruqayya titled, “Ya Allah! mpe subira aliyefiwa”
The neighbourhood were invited along with parents of the students.
Students from Hauzatul Bilal and Ahlul Bayt Teachers training college all numbering to 800 attended.
The closing prayers were offered by Shiekh Amiri Kasonso the Head master of Hauzatul Bilal.
