CIRCULAR NO: JMT/170/12
Eid ul-Fitr marks the end of the Holy month of Ramadhan. Its significance is to celebrate the achievement of enhanced piety (Taqwa). We say farewell to the blessed month, its beautiful days and its fragrant nights. It is an occasion to offer our thanks to our Creator, Allah (SWT) for His grace and mercy, and it is when Allah (SWT) is awarding us for our achievements.
Eid ul-Fitr is a time to celebrate with family and friends the completion of a blessed month whilst making it equally blessed festive and joyful occasion for all – A day of forgiveness, fellowship and unity, a time of caring and sharing.
By pinning the Federation Flag on this day signifies Unity, Fellowship and Commitment to our common goals. The Secretariat will be sending to all our Jamaats the self adhesive Flags to offer to our members (Ladies & Gents) of the Community on the Day of Eid ul-Fitr.
The proceeds derives from the Flag Day, large or small are symbolic yet exhibit our resolve in the cause of uplifting the divine values of our faith and building stronger unity of our organization.
The collections from the proceeds of the Flag Day will help to meet some of the administrative expenses of the Secretariat.
“May our Organization survive and thrive even after we are long gone and let our act be a witness that we too played our part in the community, Ameen.”
