Hawzatul Bilal marked its second graduation this year, 8 out of 13 students who graduated, and were admitted to Hawzatul Qaim, Tanga, to pursue further religious studies. Whilst congratulating the graduates, we take this opportunity to thank the management of Hawzatul Qaim of Tanga for their cooperation and support. The two hour program was the also the occasion whereby the graduates and existing students were presented with gifts to mark the occasion
It was an honour for the Bilal Campus to have shaykhs from various institutions and Sheikh Murtadha Alidina as the Guest of Honour, as well as Office Bearers from Africa Federation and the Chairman of Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania, Br. Shabbir Somji who was also present. The function was held on 14th November 2012, in the Husayniya at Bilal campus, Temeke.
The program began with a warm welcome to Sheikh Alidina with “Ta la- al Badru alayna” in chorus followed by the graduates march in the hall, promising, “Nahnu Juyoosh ul Mahdi”. The program started with recitation of some verses from the Holy Qur’an and a welcome address by the Bilal Hawza Mudeer, Shk. Amiri Kasonso.
After the Qasidah by the Hawza students, Chairman of BMMT, Alhaj Shabbir Somji addressed the gathering. He expressed his gratitude to the administrators, teachers and students for their commitment and dedication to the Hawza at Temeke. He also remembered the founder members of Bilal and encouraged the students to take practical example of Shk. Alidina and asked them to aim to achieve higher level of learning of the Madha’b of Ahlulbayt (AS).
The address by the Guest of Honour, Shaikh Alidina was in Arabic language he was brief and explicit, emphasizing on thankfulness to Allah (swt) for the opportunity and wisdom He has granted us all to perform good for the humankind in the universe we live in and given us the tawfeeq to conduct ourselves in the right manner which pleases Allah (swt). He stressed on the importance of being in a community of unity and Islamic values that pleases Allah (swt).
The presentations were made after a short address by the Campus Administrator, Mrs. Siddika Karim; the presentations were made by the Chief Guest and various Shuyookh from different centres and dignitaries. Certificates and Mafaatihul Jinaan were presented to each Graduate with the Salah Cap as a sign of Graduation from a Religious Institution.
Mrs. Karim underscored the importance of maintaining high level of intellectual acumen and focus in the religious studies to all the students, drawing few examples from the Sheikhs who were present at the Ceremony, on how they put up tremendous efforts and interest in learning, and in developing various skills.

The program continued after the presentations and Risala by a graduate was followed by Farewell Qaswida, where the Graduates bid farewell by shaking hands with all.
The program was closed by recitation of part of Dua Faraj by Sh Hemed Jalala, followed by Dua e Wahda as the last item.
We take this opportunity to wish the Graduates good luck as they proceed further into religious studies, giving opportunity to the new comers at the campus for new entants that have already started flowing in.
