To mark the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W), Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya organized a grand function on 2nd February, 2013 at the Bilal Hall, Mombasa.
The function attracted Muslims brothers from all corners of Mombasa and its environs including Madressahs.
Qaswida were recited by students from Madrasah Amirul Mu’minin Matuga, Madrasah Swalihin Kisauni and other Islamic institutions.
An elaborative and enlightening speech by Sheikh Rijali Bwana Rijali, articulated the topic on prophethood from Prophet Adam (a.s.) to Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w).
MILAD-UN NABI SEMINAR IN MOMBASA
The Mission, for the first time organized a Milad-un Nabi Seminar at Samburu Secondary School on 17th February 2013, where 20 secondary schools were invited, with individual number of students with attendance of about 900. The Theme of the seminar was “PEACE and UNITY” reflecting on the life of the Holy Prophet Mohamed (SAWW)
Ustadh Salim Chimvatsi, spoke on “The Spread of Islam”
Sheikh Musa Shali, spoke on “Peace and The Prophet’s Leadership.”
There was a question and answer session after the lectures. Many questions were posed from the curious students on the prophet’s leadership in comparison with the current leadership. The Seminar was interactive and great interest was shown by the participants.
Local leaders from the area, teachers and other leaders who showed keen interest expressed their appreciations to the mission for organizing such a forum.
