COMMEMORATES CHEHLUM AT MANTHARE VILLAGE
On Tuesday 24th December 2013 (20 Safar 1435) Bilal Muslim Mission – Mwanza branch commemorated Arbaeen (CHEHLUM) of Imam Hussein (A.S.) at Manthare Village around 60 km from Mwanza city. Malya and Kisesa Kona villagers also participated in the procession.
The procession, with around 350 people, started from Manthare Bilal Centre at midday all the way to village centre about 2 km and back in the evening peacefully.
During procession stop-overs were made and strong messages were delivered in form of Khutbas explaining about the tragedy of Karbala and how the Household of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W.) were oppressed at the hands of the tyrants of that time.
An introduction speech was given by Br. Sibtain Meghjee followed by Maulana’s khutba on tragedy of Karbala. The participants listened to the khutba attentively and this was followed by prayers.
Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania and the Bilal Mwanza branch wish to convey their appreciation to all donors and volunteers for their kind support and pray to Allah (SWT) to shower His blessings, grace and mercy upon them. Ameen.
