The Mission conducted Module III – Credit training for three days each from March 17th 2014 at Mackinon Road, Lamkani Women’s Group, from March, 24th 2014 at Shimoni, Khadijatul Qubra Women Group – Shimoni and from 7th April, 2014 at Dembwa, Jipe Moyo Women Group respectively.
The module included sessions on:
- Introduction to loans
- Rules and regulations of taking loans
- Revolving of loans
- Importance of taking loans
- Repayments of loans
- Loaning procedures
- Duties of the loans committee
- Selection of the loan committee and
- Baseline data collection
The module was facilitated by Sis Sidi Nyota and Sis Kauchi Chifui.
A session on Islamic Religious Education was facilitated by Sis. Ruiya Salim at the training. Topics discussed were Fiqh Masail and Akhlaq of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W).
Achievements:
- IRE sessions opened their eyes and the group learnt a lot more that they were not aware about.
- The group understood how loans borrowed are supposed to be used.
