BILAL MUSLIM MISSION – MSATA & MBOGA BRANCHES COMMEMORATE WAFAAT OF 7TH IMAM AND H. ABUTALIB A.S.
On 25th May 2014, Sheikh Bakari and Sheikh Kwezi from Bilal Muslim Mission – Dar travelled to villages to commemorate the wafaat of our 7th Imam Musa al Kadhim (AS) and H. Abutalib (AS).
The program which was held in the afternoon of 25th May, 2014 started by recitation of Qur’an followed by Shk Bakari’s lecture on the contribution of these personalities to Islam.
This followed a session of Questions and Answers with the participants relating Imam (AS) and some question also on the life of Hazrat Abutalib (AS) which were answered satisfactorily by Sheikh Bakari and Sheikh Kwezi.
About 14 Shia families from Msata village and 36 families from Mboga attended the majalis.

AND IKWIRIRI BRANCHES CELEBRATE MI’RAJ DAY
On 27th May, 2014 delegation of 3 people from Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania led by Maulana Sayyed Arifali Naqvi, proceeded to Ikwiriri for Tabligh and celebration of Isra’ wa Mi’raj.
Maulana Sayyed Arifali was accompanied by Sheikh Hemed Lipumba, Sheikh Ramadhani Kwezi and the Driver Nassoro. They were received by Sheikh Haji Mageni and soon after Maulana took a tour of the construction going on at Ikwiriri.
Later, Maulana visited some well known Religious personalities of the Sunni sect, Sheikh Omar Rashid Mkuru, Senior Sheikh representing BAKWATA in Rufiji District and Sheikh Ahmad Said Kihambwe, Senior Imam of Masjid ul Hudaa.
The programme started after Dhohrain prayers and followed by Qur’an recitation. Sayyid Arifali wished and thanked all those who were present and said that such gatherings were necessary for propagation of Islam, were a sign of Taqwa and showered by Almighty’s blessings and a recognition of the great work done by our Holy Prophet (SAWW) and our Imams (AS).
The session continued with the khutba by Sheikh Maulid Rajabu Imam (prayer leader) of Masjid Taqwa – Ikwiriri, who explained in detail about the divine journey of our Holy Prophet (SAWW) and advised the participants to note and learn lessons from what our Holy Prophet (SAWW) was shown.
Second sermon was held by Alhajj Sheikh Hemed Lipumba of Dar es Salaam who stressed on how the Arabs of that time were astounded at the glory of the Holy Prophet (SAWW)’s miraculous Journey and that the scientists till today continue to be surprised and shocked at this amazing and educational visit to the heavens.
He concluded his speech by urging Muslims to educate themselves and their families as it is education that helps us to know God better and His glory.
