BMM Tanzania – Hawzatul Bilal 4th Graduation Ceremony 2014
The Fourth Graduation Ceremony for the Foundation Course of three years at the Hawzatul Bilal at Temeke, Dar-es-Salaam took place on Thursday 7th August 2014. The Hawzatul Bilal was established in 2009.
The Guest of Honour for the function was Sheikh Murtadha Alidina. The function was also graced by the presence of many learned scholars like Sheikh Nouri – the representative of Ayatullah Makarim Shirazi, Sayyid Arif Ali Naqvi – Head of Tabligh of BMM Tanzania, Sheikh Hemed Jalala of Masjid Ghadeer, Sheikh Ghawth and Sheikh Abdi. Also in attendance were the Central Bilal Board Vice Chairman Alhaj Mohamedraza Dewji, Chairman of AFTAB – Alhaj Seyed Hassan Naqvi, CEO of BMM Tanzania – Alhaj Amir Ahmed, President of KSIJ –Dar-es-Salaam Alhaj Azim Dewji and Chairman of the Tabligh Board KSIJ – Dar-es-Salaam Alhaj Mohamed Rawji.
The program commenced at 10:30 a.m. with the grand entrance by the Graduates followed by recitation of Quran and farewell Qaswida.
Mrs. Siddika Karim, the Head of Campus, made a brief address announcing the opening of a full-fledged Hawza to start this year 2014, so as to retain and train the students who complete the foundation course at the Hawza. The goal is to pursue recognition of AhlulBayt (as) and spread it to their communities.
Sheikh Alidina gave his words of wisdom based on the final message by the graduate connecting it with a hadith and final advise of knowing where they are from, their present state and where they are heading to, giving them food for thought to have a goal in life which needs to be persevered.
After Dhuhrain prayers the top three students and top three disciplined students were awarded. All the graduates were gifted with a small token. The top three winners of the Quds Day Quiz competition were also awarded.
The Graduation this time ended with a hope to see majority of the Graduates returning to the campus for the full-fledged Hawza.
