MAHE MUHARRAM 1436 – HIGHLIGHTS
Bilal Muslim Mission Tanga Branch organized various functions and events in order to commemorate the Martyrdom of Imam Hussain –The grandson of Holy Prophet (S.A.W) which took place in the plains of Karbala.
Live radio programme was carried out for 1 2days of Mahe Muharram in Radio Mwambao and twice a week in Radio Maarifa where in people from all over Tanga region and outside were given chance to ask their questions on the event of Kerbala and on Shiaism in general.
A special delegation from Africa Federation headed by the AFED Chairman, Alhaj Anwarali Dharamsi accompanied by the Hon. Secretary, Br. Aunali Khalfan and the Chairman of the Central Bilal Board, Br. Mohsin Lalji visited Bilal Tanga on Wednesday, 29th of October 2014.
They gave a courtesy visit to our main Branch office where they met the Chairman of BMMT -Tanga Branch, Alhaj Hasnain Hassanali and discussed various issues related to Tabligh affairs in Tanga region.
The AFED delegation also made a visit to the Hawza premises, spoke to the teachers and students and thereafter they visited five centres on the way to Horohoro border which are under BMMT-Tanga Branch management.
B.M.M.T. Tanga Branch in collaboration with Ahlul Bayt Charitable foundation and Sayyid Shuhada foundation of Mikanjuni –Tanga organized Juloos procession on the day of ASHURA which was attended by a large number of people from all around Tanga which started from Bilal Tanga main center at Street No. 5 and ended at Ahlul Bayt Charitable foundation center at Street No. 20.
During the Juloos, live speeches were delivered by prominent speakers from Tanga and pamphlets were distributed to spread the message of the martyrs of Kerbala.
BMMT – Tanga Branch wish to express their sincere gratitude to all the lecturers, reciters of nauhas, generous donors and all those who contributed in one way or the other during this holy month of Muharram in delivering the message of Imam Hussain (A.S).
