The World Federation Second Executive Council Meeting for the term 2017 – 2020 was hosted by the Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Muslim Jamaat of London – Stanmore on 23rd and 24th February 2018.
The Africa Federation was fully represented by the following eight Councillors:

- Alhaj Amine Nassor
- Alhaj Mohamed Hemani
- Alhaj Hussein Karim
- Alhaj Mohamed Jaffer
- Alhaj Saeed Ali Vazir
- Alhaj Amir Merali
- Br. Alihassan Kassam
The World Federation Office Bearers and its various Departments laid out their vision for the current term which included the inward investment policy, where funds are raised and allocated to projects undertaken by the member Federations.

The following issues were some of important items discussed:
- Strategic Plan on Islamic Education,
- MCE Curriculum,
- Zaynabia Child Sponsorship,
- WF-AID,
- Khoja Heritage Project
- PNS Project Update
- Code of Practice for Leadership in the Community.
- WF Investment
- Financial Report



For the first time an Open Forum was held on Friday 23rd February 2018, where the general public directly raised questions and issues of concern to both the World Federation Secretariat as well as the Regional Federations. The session was productive and enlightening as it helped answer and cleared many issues, like women involvement, and the lack of female representation in positions of leadership, policy on inward investment, Khoja database and Khoja heritage.
The WF Khoja Heritage Department received praise for the Khoja Heritage Tour of India and they were requested to do such programs more frequently.
The World Federation is also providing extensive support to the Regional Federations in their Housing Projects, where it has provided financial assistance to Hujjat Jamaat through the Council of European Jamaats (COEJ) to assist first time buyers to put the initial down payment for mortgage. The World Federation is also on its own as well as through the good offices of its Councillor Murabbi Ahmed Daya supporting The Africa Federation in its Housing Projects in Dar es Salaam, where the need presently is much more.
The World Federation is also supporting Africa Federation’s drive in Education, Economic Empowerment and the Holy month of Ramadhan Relief. These support greatly help the needy and deserving members and children whose education is of paramount importance.
The Africa Federation Secretariat records its appreciation to the Managing Committee of the KSIMC of London (Hujjat Stanmore Jamaat) and the volunteers for their warm hospitality and arrangements made.
