SEMINAR
B.M.M-Tanga as in previous years organized a nine day Seminar towards the end of the month of Shab’an 1438 A.H. for its Muballigheens (Teachers).
A total of 56 teachers participated in the Seminar which started on 16th May 2017 with the opening address by Shk. Muhammad Mnyamisi of Zahrau Islamic Education -Tanga and was concluded on the 24th May 2017 by the Chairman of Bilal Tanga Alhaj Hasnain Hassanali, who gave a closing speech.
Some of the topics covered during the Seminar included Work ethics, Computer skills, Akhlaq (tazkiyatun-nafs), Fiqh (Zakat, Khums etc.)
MAHE RAMADHAN RELIEF FUND
Bilal Tanga carried out food parcels distribution to all Shia families at our centres in Tanga region. The distribution was carried out by dividing the families into two groups according to their activeness in the participation in religious functions and other social communal activities throughout the year. By this, Bilal is trying to inculcate sense of belonging, responsibility and serving for humanity at large in them.
GROUP A: Families in this group received each 10kg Rice, 10kg Maize flour, 10kg Wheat flour, 5kg Sugar and 3 litre of cooking oil.
GROUP B: Families in this group received each 5kg Rice, 5kg Maize flour, 5kg Wheat flour, 3kg Sugar and 3litre of cooking oil.
Apart from the above food parcel distribution Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania Tanga Branch also provides Iftaar throughout the 30 days of Mahe Ramadhan in all its Centres in Tanga Region.
Qur’an Darsah (Quran recitation), Dua and Majlises (Lectures) are conducted during the nights throughout the Holy month of Ramadhan in all the Centres of Bilal Tanga Branch, with good participation.
PROMOTING SPIRITUALITY AND BENEVOLENCE
We wish to convey our sincere appreciation and gratitude to the World Federation of KSI Muslim Communities, the Federation of KSI Jamaats of Africa and to all our donors and well-wishers for their continuous support and especially the timely support and contributions extended to us during the Holy month of Ramadhan, enabling us also to extend our support like the Ramadhan Relief Food Parcels, daily Ifta’ar and organizing the religious and social programs during the nights of the Holy month of Ramadhan at all our Centres. We also wish to thank the management of Central Bilal Board and Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania, the Bilal Tanga Branch staff, teachers and volunteers for their dedication, services and cooperation. May Allah (SWT) grant them Tawfeeqat to continue with the noble work and we pray for their good health, long life and every success in their endeavors.
