Comments on the Seminar:
“This seminar has been very beneficial to me due to various captivating topics that we were taught. One of the most interesting sessions was basket weaving using polythene bags. When I go back home I would like to start this as a business as I see it to be profitable and also low on cost as polythene bags are easily available”- Nuru Chalo, Rahma Women Group Kilungu Centre
The seminar went well. Religious education sessions have been very useful especially as topics such as ‘A husband’s and wife’s responsibilities in a marriage were explained. With all the knowledge received, as I leave I tend to share it with my fellow group members as well as people of the community so that everyone can benefit – Grace Mwawasi, Imam Baqir Women Group Mwasafu Centre

Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya would like to thank all those involved in the process of empowerment of these women from the rural centres, and for their continuous support to the mission.
