BILAL TANGA OPENS NEW MOSQUE IN VINGO CENTRE
B.M.M – Tanga officially inaugurated its new mosque in Vingo centre on 17th Jamadiul Akher 1437 A.H. The centre is located in Korogwe district, Tanga. The Opening ceremony was attended by various Sheikhs from the Tanga Bilal Headquarters including Vice Principal; Shk Hamza Omary and Head of Internal Tabligh; Shk Idrissa Ibrahim.
THIRD HAUZATUL QAIM GRADUATION CEREMONY FOR ITS FEMALE STUDENTS
B.M.M-Tanga held graduation ceremony on 3rd April 2016 for its female students, who completed a three year course in Islamic studies. The ceremony was conducted at the CCM Hall located on Street No.20 Ngamiani, Tanga.
The Guest of Honour for this ceremony was the Chairperson of Umoja Wa Wanawake Tanzania (U.W.T) Mama Aisha Kigoda, who presented the certificates to 20 graduate students.
NURSERY SCHOOLS
Bilal Tanga currently runs four nursery schools in Tanga Region. The Schools are located in four of its centres i.e. Duga, Kilulu, Mkumbara and Makaka. The schools which have around 200 students are run by nine fulltime qualified teachers.
Bilal Tanga through its Secular Education committee makes sure that these students receive the best of Education. All cost of running the schools are fully sponsored by Bilal Tanga including Uniforms, Stationery, etc. Currently efforts are being made to open a fifth Nursery School at Mwembeni Centre from January 2017.
ECONOMIC UPLIFMENT CAMPAIGN
B.M.M- Tanga continued with its Economic Uplifment campaign by giving live goats to its members who are in need. This time the campaign was carried out in Magodi Centre during the month of Jamadil Akher, whereby 14 families benefitted by getting three goats each.
