The Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Jamaat of Bujumbura at its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 17th June 2020 elected their new Chairman and Vice Chairman who then duly appointed the rest of the Managing Committee Team.
The following are the Office Bearers, Managing Committee and Trustees for the term 2020 – 2022:

The Africa Federation Office Bearers had a virtual meeting with the new team on Tuesday 7th July 2020 where several matters of common interest were discussed including the AFED Vision and Goals for the term 2019-2022, Covid-19 pandemic situation in Bujumbura in particular and Africa in general.
Seyed Hassan Naqvi the Chairman of Africa Federation Tabligh Board (AFTAB) also joined the meeting for discussion on Tabligh matters, with particular focus on the Madrassah activities in the Jamaat.
The Chairman of Bujumbura Jamaat Hur bhai stated that the new team have highlighted three major areas which they wish to focus upon during their term; these are;
- Financial Sustainability,
- Strengthening the Madrasah, and
- Enhancing Youth Activities and Programs.
We pray to Allah (SWT) to grant the new team with good health and tawfeeqat to carry out their duties and accomplish their aspirations and goals successfully under the guidance of the Ahlul Bayt and especially our 12th Holy Imam (ATF), Ameen.
