On the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Ghadeer we extend our felicitations to all Community members and are pleased to inform that Alhamdulillah The Zahra Residency Housing Project in Antananarivo, Madagascar is completed.
The Zahra Residency project in Antananarivo, the capital city of Madagascar is 5 storey building consisting of 30 Apartments, 6 on each floor with terrace giving a beautiful view of the city. 20 apartments are of 2 bedrooms and 10 apartments of 3 bedrooms. One parking space for each apartment.
This is a unique project first of its kind in Madagascar – a project initiated by Conseil Regional of Madagascar (CROI) and Antananarivo KSI Jamaat for the members of our community in Madagascar.
The Africa Federation Housing Development Board coordinated the development of this project with the team of the Housing Development Board of CROI.
We are thankful to Alhaj Anwarali R. Dharamsi and Alhaj Navazaly R. Molou for their support in this project.
The building is located in a prime residential district of An Ambodiovanjo Ivandry in Antananarivo. The project took off in September 2018; the construction was carried out by a well-known French Construction Company, COLAS to a very good standard.
CROI and Antananarivo KSI Jamaat offered the Apartments to the members who are first time home-owners on a Rent-to-Own Scheme, identical to the one for Amira Residency in Dar es Salaam. The remaining Apartments have been sold to the members who are affording to generate immediate funds to settle the Contractor’s bills etc.
The Apartments will be handed over to the first time buyers this month for occupation. Due to current travel restrictions, the official inauguration of this building will be done in coming months, InshaAllah.

This is a triparty project between Africa Federation, Madagascar Regional council (CROI) and Antananarivo Jamaat. It is the first ever RENT TO OWN project in Madagascar.

The building will accommodate the 30 families and safeguard and uplift the families economic status and give them permanent security of a shelter for generations to come.
