BILAL TANGA CONDUCTS MAJLIS IN ALL ITS CENTRES
Majlis were organized for 12 consecutive days of Mahe Muharram 1444 A.H. in all Sixty centres run under Bilal Tanga umbrella. Majlises started from Saturday 30th July 2022 (01st Of Muharram 1444 A.H) up to Wednesday 10th of August 2022, (12th of Muharram 1444 A.H).
BILAL TANGA ORGANISES BLOOD DONATION IN THE NAME OF IMAM HUSAIN (AS)
Bilal Tanga organized Blood donation on 7th of August 2022 at the Tanga Regional Referral Hospital (BOMBO Hospital) in the name of the Martyrs of Kerbala. A total of 30 women and 51 men responded to the call hence 81 units of Safe blood were collected. A separate exercise was also conducted in Pangani centre whereby 25 people donated blood there.
BILAL TANGA ORGANISES PROCESSIONS IN VARIOUS ZONES ON ASHURA DAY
As in previous years Bilal Tanga organized a number of processions on the Day of Ashura so as to commemorate the martyrdom of Aba Abdillahil Husain (as).
The Procession was divided into various zones as follows;
Central zone: Consists of Kwemkole, Bombo Majimoto, Matemboni, Kwemchaku centres. The procession took place in Bombo Majimoto centre.
Western zone: Consists of Korogwe, Vingo, Mali and Kwashemshi centres. The procession took place in Korogwe centre.
Eastern zone: Consists of Tanga city, Maramba, Kibiboni, Mpirani, Mwandusi, Kibiboni, Mafere centres. The procession took place in Tanga centre.
Northern zone: Consists of Duga, Maili nane, Geza, Kilulu, Magumbani centres. The procession took place in Duga centre.
Southern zone: Consists of Pangani, Mwembeni, Makorora, Kikokwe centres. The procession took place in Pangani centre.
OPENING OF NEW CENTRE IN MAGUMBANI
Earlier in the month of Zilhajj 1443 A.H. i.e. on 24th Zilhajj Bilal Tanga in collaboration with WIPAHS and ABC-Arusha opened a new centre in Magumbani – Mkinga district. The centre consists of a new mosque, two teachers’ houses, four classrooms and a teacher’s office. The mosque was named as Masjid Rasul and was ready for use immediately after the opening ceremony.
