ISLAMIC CORRESPONDENT COURSE 2022
GRADUATION REPORT
INTRODUCTION:
On Saturday 15 October 2022, Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania (BMMT) held graduation ceremony for its program of “Islamic Correspondent Course”.
This program was founded in 1972 by Allamah Sayyid Saeed Akhtar Rizvi aimed for Swahili students across East and Central African Region.
In this year (2022), 174 students were enrolled in the program. 165 out of them studied through postal and 9 studied through online where 84 students graduated.
CEREMONY OVERVIEW
The ceremony started at 10.30 a.m. and ended at 12:25 p.m. followed by Dhuhr prayer (Jama’a) and lunch.
The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Sheikh Salman. Sheikh Ibrahim welcomed everyone to the program. Sr. Sadah Ally, the course Coordinator gave an over view of the course to all the guests and parents. Sheikh Ramadhan Kwezi (guest) gave a speech which highlighted on the importance of this program (Islamic Correspondence Course) for our contemporary society. The Guest of Honor was Sheikh Muhammad Yusuph – Mdiru at Bilal Hawza who also spoke at the program. Bilal Hawza students recited Qaswida followed by closing remarks by Sheikh Shafii. At the end of the program, Dua was recited led by Sheikh Ramadhan Kwezi.
CONCLUSSION
I would like to take this opportunity to extend my gratitude to BMMT Management, BMMT HQ Staff, Bilal Comprehensive School (BCS) Management, Bilal Hawza Management and every other person for making this event a success.
We pray to Allah SWT to give us Tawfiq in serving humanity better, Insha’Allah.
