The Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Mosque in Mwanza needs renovations including interior and exterior painting, this will add to the Masjid’s impressive outlook.
The rehabilitation work shall include the floor, walls, new tiling, electrical, plumbing, and repainting works. The carpet in the Masjid will also be replaced with a new one.
The Housing Development Board of Africa Federation Chairman, Alhaj Akil Hirji will lead this renovation project, he will be assisted by the technical team from the Housing Development Board. The cost for the entire work is estimated at US$ 70,000.

We appeal to our Community members to donate generously towards this noble project of Thawab-e-Jariyah. Each donation will Insha’allah be rewarded amply, there is no such as big or small amounts when giving for a noble cause for the pleasure of Allah (SWT).
The Africa Federation Secretariat is therefore appealing to the members of our Community and also the Diaspora from East Africa, and those from Mwanza to contribute generously towards this project.
