One of the key areas that the Central Health Board of Africa Federation is focusing on this term, is to identify new avenues for medical facilities; locally and internationally. Recently, CHB received an offer from the Jaffer Family Foundation of New York and the UGI for subsidized cost of treatment for Cancer, Cardiac, Orthopedic surgeries and Kidney/Liver Transplant in Pakistan.
Following to the offer, our Central Health Board team met the Acting High Commissioner/Charge d’Affaires Honorable Muhammad Azam Bihan of the High Commission of Pakistan and discussed on the issue of medical tourism in Pakistan along with its entry requirements.
Honorable Muhammad Azam Bihan welcomed the Board’s efforts in the health sector in Pakistan and assured us of necessary support and corporation. Along with this, the visa entry process and key requirements were discussed.
