BMMT-TANGA CARRIES OUT PRIZE DISTRIBUTION
During the Holy month of Shaaban 1444 A.H. and upto the early days of the Holy month Ramadhan 1444 A.H, Bilal Tanga carried out Prize distribution for its Madrasah students who excelled in their academic exams for the year 2022.
A total of 3,143 students took part in the Exams whereby the top three students from each class were presented with Prizes. Simultaneously uniforms were given to all the students (both boys and girls) during the event.
As in previous years, Bilal Tanga also provided gifts to Mo’omineen who did well in their exams last year. A total of 2,342 Men and women sat for the exam last year and 1,326 were awarded after reaching the passing marks.
BILAL TANGA PROVIDES FOOD STUFF FOR MAHE RAMADHAN
In order to support Shia families in Tanga Region during the Holy month of Ramadhan, Bilal Tanga carried out distribution of food stuffs to the families of Madrasah students and Mo’omineens in all its centers.
A total of 5,008 families benefitted from this distribution whereby each family received: – 3 litres of cooking oil, 5 kg of wheat flour, 4 kg of beans, 5 kg of rice, 3 kg of sugar and 3 kg of spaghetti respectively.
BILAL TANGA PROVIDES IFTAR IN ITS CENTRES
As in previous years, Bilal Tanga also provided for Iftar during the entire month of Holy Ramadhan 1444 A.H. A total of 52 centres under the umbrella of Bilal Tanga benefitted during this year.
QUR’AN AND DUA IFTITAH RECITATION
The month of Ramadhan being the season for Qur’an and Dua, Bilal Tanga had both sessions in all its centres. In Tanga center, Qur’an session was conducted both after Dhuhrain prayers and after iftar, while Dua Iftitah started at 08:30 PM in Hussainiya every day during the month of Ramadhan.
LECTURES DURING THE HOLY MONTH OF RAMADHAN
Bilal Tanga organised daily lectures in all its centres during the Holy month of Ramadhan 1444 A.H.
These were held after Dua e Iftitah in the Husainiyah Hall. Topics covered included the Philosophy of Ramadhan, Purification of the Soul, The Importance of Holy Qur’an, The Attributes of the Companions of Prophet Muhamad (saww), The Life of Imam Ali (as) etc.
A’MAAL OF LAYLATUL QADR
Bilal Tanga organised A’amal programme in all its centres during the Holy month of Ramadhan 1444 A.H.
A’maal programme was organised on all the three Holy nights i.e. 19th, 21st and 23rd of Mahe Ramadhan.
BILAL TANGA ORGANIZES GRAND COMPETITION
Bilal Tanga organized a Grand competition towards the end of the Holy month of Ramadhan 1444 A.H. for its Hawza students. The competition took place on 15th and 16th of April 2023 (i.e 25th and 26th of Ramadhan 1444 A.H) for students of Hawzatul Qa’im, Hawzat Zahra both of Tanga and Hawzat Imam Ali (as) of Pangani.
The Grand competition comprised of Qur’an Hifz, Qur’an recitation and Hifz of some of the Speeches of Imam Ali (as) from Nahj-ul Balagha.
Prizes were awarded to winners of the competition in a Prize giving ceremony conducted on 19th of April 2023 (i.e 28th Ramadhan 1444 A.H). Prizes were also given to participants of Qur’an recitation during the Holy month of Ramadhan during the same function.
