Further to the message from the Chairman of AFED (The Federation of the Khoja Shia Ithna’Asheri Jamaats of Africa) on 7th July 2023; The Central Health Board (CHB) team shall visit Zanzibar to launch the Life Insurance Scheme (AFEDLife) in Zanzibar. The visit of the CHB team is intended on 20th August 2023. The presentation of the Life Insurance (AFEDLife) will happen at the Kuwwatul Islam Imambargha, after Zohrein prayers where we expect the members of both Jamaats (Kuwwatul Islam and Hujjatul Islam) to be present. Thereafter, Niyaz will be served for all the members.
The visit comes, following the meeting held in Dar es Salaam on 5th August 2023 and 13th August 2023 between the CHB and Kuwwatul Islam Jamaat Jamaat representatives where they discussed in detail about the Life Insurance (AFEDLife), its benefits to the members/families, procedures for enrollments and forms.
Jamaats in Africa who wish to obtain more information on this Life Insurance Scheme (AFEDLife) should contact the Central Health Board. The CHB members are willing to visit the interested Jamaats to coordinate with them and provide more information to the community members.
