Since its inception in 2008, Hauzatul Bilal has witnessed its first graduates to proceed to Hauzatul Qaim(as) in Tanga for furthering their quest for higher Islamic knowledge. The achievement is commendable as per the five year plan projected by the Chairman Alhaj Shabbir Somji.
In commemoration of the vision set forth by the Chief Missionary Syed Saeed Akhtar Rizvi to train indigenous African scholars on Tanzanian soil, the Islamic centre this year has 9 students graduated to pursue a five year intensive program at Hauzatul Qaim (as) in Tanga after which they will be exposed to a one year Teacher training course at Ahlul Bait Teachers Training College at Temeke. The course will enable the Mission to have better qualified teachers for propagation.
Hauzatul Bilal was established to deliver a three year course as a preparatory course in the basic requirements in Arabic language, Aqaid, Jurisprudence and Islamic history for students seeking admission to Hauzatul Qaim(as) in Tanga. The Hauza at present has 40 students with 5 teachers.
Mrs.Karim, the Principal of the Temeke Campus addressed the graduants and congratulated them on their selection to Hauzatul Qaim(as) in Tanga. She also commended the Mudeer Shiekh Amiri Kasonso for his tireless efforts in teaching, and administering the Hauza efficiently to have been able to reach its goals. The Principal also invited the graduants to participate in the Campus official graduation to be held in the last week of November along with Students of Class seven and Teachers Training College.
